The European and global steel industries are undergoing a fundamental shift away from blast furnace steelmaking driven by a requirement to reduce CO2 emissions and reach broader sustainability targets. Grangex is today the sole owner of both the Sydvaranger Mine and Dannemora Mine. Grangex's strategy is to restart ultra-high-grade direct reduction magnetite concentrate production at both mines to meet global demands.
